DAY 1 KUALA NAMU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - BUKIT LAWANG
we will pick up you from the Medan Airport to Bukit Lawang
and deliver you to the Guest HouseDAY 2 TREKKING IN LEUSER PARK
8.30am Our experienced guides will pick you up at the hotel
or guest house to explore the tropical rainforest for 1 Day, we will see some
wildlife in the jungle like orangutans, gibbons, peacocks, squirrels, a variety
of
monkeys, bird, insects and plants in it .
About 3/4 hour journey we will see waterfalls in the jungle,
and we will break for lunch and swimming. Having finished lunch next we went
swimming more trips into the jungle to see flora and fauna.
2/3 the afternoon we will return to the guest house to take
the path of the river by using a tube rafting, or on foot again, it is your
choice.DAY 3 BUKIT LAWANG - TANGKAHAN
Tangkahan Departing from Bukit Lawang towards Tangkahan and Relax while enjoying the crystal clear waters of the river, and there are hidden airpanas for some people, and occasionally seen large wild fish in the river water and there is also a waterfall. then Elephants Trekking & Washing.
DAY 4 TANGKAHAN - BERASTAGI
In the morning
is free program until you leave for the cool and pleasant highland town of
Berastagi–a mountain resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent
mountain scenery which has an abundance of flowers, vegetables and fruits (most
famous of which is the “Marquisa” passion fruit). The route will through
winding road with lovely countryside. In Brastagi you can also visit the famous
fruits market and Gundaling hill where you views two active volcanoes, Sinabung
and Sibayak.
DAY 5 BRASTAGI - Mt. SIBAYAK CLIMBING - KETAMBE
You have to get
up early in the morning at 04.00 and walk with local guide up to the volcano
where you can see a beautiful sunrise. You will have wonderful far views over
the environment. Also you can see the smoking sulphur sources on the moon like
landscape on the top of the volcano. After descending, you can enjoy Lau Debuk
Debuk hot spring. Then you return to hotel and continue drive to Ketambe. Late
in the afternoon you arrive in Ketambe on the edge of the Gunung Leuser
National Park in Aceh province.
DAY 6 KETAMBE - 2 DAY JUNGLE TREKKING
After breakfast
you start a jungle trekking to explore the primary
tropical rain forest with their wild life living in their natural habitat. You will go deep into the
jungle where you have chance to see the wild Orangutans, Gibbons, Monkeys,
Deer, Wild Pigs and kind of birds. You will also see special plants and insects
of the Sumatra jungle. You may enjoy hot, warm and cold bath as the hot water
is flowing into the river and mix up with the cold. During the trekking you
will find also a beautiful waterfall. Overnight at tent in the jungle. Lunch
and dinner in the jungle are included.

Today you
continue trekking with return to your lodge. The way back will not be on the
same path you came before, so you have a better chance to see more animals
unexpectedly. This is time to observe many kind of
flora, fauna and enjoy the song of birds and Siamang “the black gibbon” as
well. In the afternoon arrive at your guesthouse for overnight stay.
DAY 8 KETAMBE - SAMOSIR ISLAD

Early in the
morning at 7.00 you proceed the journey to Samosir island through the same
route via Kabanjahe town. On the way you may stop at Dokan
village, a traditional Karo Bataks village, Sipiso-piso waterfall, Long house
of Simalungun Bataks.
During the trip you will also pass local spices garden: coffee, cinnamon, clove
etc. Late in the afternoon you arrive at Parapat where you cross the lake
by ferry or public boat to Samosir island.
DAY 9 SAMOSIR ISLAN TOUR

Today you will
make excursion to explore the beauty and cultural aspects of Batak visiting Ambarita village to see the stone chairs, tables and court yard of
Siallagan’s clan.
Simanindo to enjoy the Bataks traditional ritual dances
of the Bataks Tribe.
Thereafter continue to Tomok village to see the old tomb
of King’s Sidabutar.
The rest is your own program, you can take a beautiful walk or take rest in
hotel. In the evening you may enjoy the local café nearby.
DAY 10 SAMOSIR ISLAND - MEDAN

In the morning you cross the lake by public boat or ferry to Parapat
from where you drive to Medan through the plantation route and a
historical city of Pematang Siantar.
Upon arrival
in Medan, you will make a city tour of Medan visiting
Sultan Maimoon Palace, Grand
Mosque, Chinese temple and remaining Malay, Chinese and Dutch Colonial architecture building.
